returns & refundes

we have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

to be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. 

the following goods cannot be returned:

  • the supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized.
  • the supply of goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
  • the supply of goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • the supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

we reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.

to start a return, you can contact us at . if your return is accepted, we’ll send you a confirmation email, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

you are responsible for the cost and risk of returning good to us. we cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. we are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.

damages and issues

please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. if you received something damaged, incorrect, or defective, please email us immediately with photos of the items to 

not contacting regarding damaged, defective, or incorrect items prior to the 14-day return window will not be accepted. 

upon confirmation of photos, a replacement or refund will be given. damages shown by consumer misuse will not be accepted.


exceptions / non-returnable items

certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


the salty hive will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. if approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
