the salty hive makes pop culture & horror infused home fragrance and body products for those who are looking for more than just your average plain ol' wax melt, candle, or hand soap. 

i started my business in 2017, several months after i lost my father unexpectedly. 3 months prior to that, i left my job due to budget cuts. after losing my dad, i became even more lost & had no sense of direction or where my future was heading. after a month-long solo road trip through new england, i decided i didn't want to work in an office ever again & not have control of my own future.
so i got my creative mind going & turned one of my hobbies into a business.
