2024 holiday us domestic order deadlines

orders must be placed by 5 pm est on the following dates to arrive prior to dec 25th. [dates are based on carriers' delivery deadlines, which are estimates are from the carriers, not guarantees! the holidays are always a hectic time of year to ship... shop earlier the better! 🎄]

ORDER DEADLINE IS TUESDAY, DEC. 10TH, AT 5 PM EST, FOR SATURDAY, DEC. 14TH ALL THE CREATURES MARKET PICK-UP.

ORDER DEADLINE IS TUESDAY, DEC. 17TH, AT 5 PM EST, FOR BOMBSHELL GIFTS & ORDERS MUST BE PICKED UP BY DEC 23.

the salty hive offers local pick-up at bombshell gifts [4195 massillon rd #239, uniontown, 44685] or an upcoming event. 

please note: two attempts will be made via email [one used to place order,] to schedule a pick-up location & date [at bombshell gifts or an upcoming event.]

if no response is made within 36 hours after the 2nd email, your order will be cancelled & order will be refunded minus a 10% restock fee. please be sure to check your email if local pick-up is selected!
if order is not picked-up at event as scheduled, it is up to the customer to contact the salty hive to reschedule a pick-up. if 5 business days passes without contact from customer, the order will be cancelled & order will be refunded minus a 10% restock fee. customer may request to have order shipped, in which an invoice will be sent out for shipping costs & then shipped upon payment.

processing

order processing takes place during normal business hours, monday through friday. please allow 1-2 days for processing. orders received after 3 pm will begin being processed the following business day.

shipping

the salty hive ships both domestically and to a select number of international destinations. shipping times depend on your location. for example: if you live in our state of ohio, you'll get it faster than if you live in california. the usps site quotes, but does not guarantee, 2-8 business days for domestic delivery. international shipping is longer.

custom orders take 1-3 weeks to create and deliver because they are made-to-order. 

if a package can't be delivered due to an error entering your shipping address, the salty hive is not responsible for any additional fees that may incur in order to reroute or reship the package. local and want to save shipping? see below for pick-up options below!

international shipping

processing

order processing takes place during normal business hours, monday through friday. please allow 1-2 days for processing. orders received after 3 pm will begin being processed the following business day.

customs

you, the customer, are responsible for all taxes and duties (including vat) imposed by your country of residence.

the salty hive is not responsible for any packages held by international customs agencies and it is not the responsibility of the salty hive to make the customer aware of these agencies and their actions. please check with your country's customs office to determine their procedures and any potential charges.

for example, uk residents might expect a customs charge of at least 20% of the total cost of the purchase. the salty hive is not responsible for this payment. your package may arrive at your local post office or delivery center and be held until pickup and payment is taken care of.

if you neglect to pick up your package and it is returned to us, we will not refund the charge for original shipping.

if it is a custom piece and it is returned to us, you should contact us immediately to arrange reshipping as custom orders are final sale and we cannot refund you for the purchase.

should the salty hive mistakenly be invoiced directly for any duties or fees from the shipping company after delivery, we will email an invoice for the balance due. this will need to paid immediately.

as with domestic shipping, if a package can't be delivered due to an error entering your shipping address, the salty hive is not responsible for any additional fees that may incur in order to reroute or reship the package.

tracking

if you have a usps package marked as delivered but haven't received it, please contact your local mail facility (ie. royal mail in the uk).

in summary; you will have to pay taxes and duties in your own country. this is extra and we have no control over it. by purchasing from the salty hive, you acknowledge that you are aware of this and accept it as your financial responsibility.
